Chef Stephen Paulson's dishes are always made from scratch at Bottle and Bull. That point is driven home in the restaurant's tagline: Scratch Kitchen and Craft Cocktails. So, you can be assured that every dish that's placed in front of you at this Kirkland restaurant is created from fresh ingredients in the kitchen every day.
Another notable aspect of Bottle and Bull is its concept. It's goal is to highlight the travels of Ernest Hemingway by offering dishes from some of his most beloved locations, such as Paris, Pamplona, Havana, and Florence. You can expect touches of those locations in the food here, such as Cuban-style stew, Serrano ham flatbread, steak frites, and crepes. Diners also seem to enjoy the lamb burger, the fried onions, and the pork loin. No meal here is complete without a craft cocktail, all of which were created by bar manager Silas Manlove. If you'd rather not have one of the more potent drinks on his list, don't fret. He's also created a list of interesting low-alcohol cocktails as well as none without any alcohol at all.
